This route runs from Hunt Valley, MD to York, PA so you will see it show up as both a PA and MD route.
This is an outstanding candidate for an overnight bikepacking adventure. The trail travels along the NCR trail to the PA line where it transitions to the York Heritage Rail Trail.
You will travel through Glen Rock and New Freedom in PA and through Parkton, Monkton, and Sparks in MD. All are great places to explore.
Your end destination is the Indian Rocks Campground outside of York, PA. This small campground is accessible by a small hidden path right along the trail.
Once you have set up your camp for the night it is an easy ride into York where there are several craft breweries and restaurants.
