Start at either the Mast General Store Annex, Valle Crucis Community park, or the Valle Crucis Elementary School (the start/finish for Blood, Sweat and Gears). Starts out on pavement and quickly switches to gravel. Traverses the river before making a left turn and first left up a steep hill. Big climbs on the backside before looping back into the start of the ride and backtracking to the start.
Recommend a gravel or cyclocross bike.
